Summer Premieres Capture Viewer Attention in June
After a mid-week 4th of July break, we’re back to reporting what programs captured viewer attention! After May’s finales, June’s top programs were largely summer season premieres.
- Game shows and other competition-based programs topped the broadcast list, led by season premieres such as Match Game, America’s Got Talent, and Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell & Back.
- Does warmer weather inspire greater attention to home improvement programs? It sure looks that way as HGTV captured three of the top five cable programs in June.
- Discovery, Inc. nabbed four of the top five cable spots, including programs on Food Network and HGTV.
