VideoAmp's Chief Measurability Officer Josh Chasin explains [the value of panel data](https://www.adexchanger.com/digital-tv/videoamps-josh-chasin-on-the-somehow-enduring-value-of-tv-panel-data/) and TVision's unique data set to AdExchanger readers.

Chassin explains, "What panels do is enable us to modify big data assets based on accounts or get to individual-level data based on what we know about who’s in the household.

If you want to know about women ages 25 to 54 in our data, it will be households with a woman who’s in that range. The next step is to convert household viewing data to individual-person viewing data, and the way you do that is with a panel that informs you how the people in households watch a given show or channel."
