September: Top Attention-Grabbing Shows for Broadcast and Cable

Fall Premieres Dominate Viewer Attention in September.

Highlights:

  • Series/season premieres nabbed the top five spots on our Broadcast Attention Index. NBC’s Great News, featuring Tina Fey in its second season, led the pack.
  • #1 on the Cable Attention Index was Broad City on Comedy Central. The sassy duo, Ilana and Abbi, returned for their fourth season and delivered the greatest engagement on cable.
  • As would be expected, Sitcoms and Dramas replaced Games and Reality as top-performing genres as we entered the fall season.
