May 2021: Top Shows, Brands, and Ads

We're doing things a bit differently this month - we'll still be focused on the shows, brands, and ads that best captured viewers' attention, but now we go beyond the top five for CTV and linear TV shows to consider the top ten performers and whether they are moving up or down our chart. Just click the "See the Full List" links to review the top ten in each category. 

Show data is grouped by CTV and linear TV (inclusive of both broadcast and cable). If you're interested in learning more about the top binged and co-viewed CTV shows, read this blog. A few highlights: 

  • Viewers could not get enough of "Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet", as they engaged seasons one, two, and three
  • Elsewhere in our lists, "Mom" on CBS landed the top spot on broadcast
  • MTV's "Siesta Key" was the top show on cable for attention
  • Terminix's tv ads engaged viewers best, landing this month's top Creative Attention Score

Top Linear TV Programs, by Attention Index

TV Ad Attention measures how effectively an ad or ads held viewers’ Attention while they aired. It is measured as the percentage of all ad impressions in which the viewer was looking at the TV screen for two or more seconds.
