Comedy, Drama Capture Viewer Attention in November
In addition to giving thanks and over-eating, we also made time to pay attention to broadcast and cable TV with our loved ones. In the month of November, the following primetime first-run programs ranked the highest on our Attention Index.
- NBC’s ratings power-house “This is Us” cracked the top 5 for attention. The combo of high ratings and strong attention makes “This is Us” an all-star.
- “E! News” topped our cable list for the first time. No surprise there, as royal engagements and celebrity scandals are hard to ignore.
- ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy”, in its 14th season with over 300 episodes, continues to capture viewer hearts and eyes-on-screen attention.
- Attention to zombies is impossible to kill. Despite ratings hitting a 6-year low, those that watched AMC’s “The Walking Dead” helped make it to the list for the first time in 2017.
