Here are the shows that topped the TVision Power Score list for the month of July 2026, thanks to their ability to both attract viewers and hold their attention throughout the show.
For July, Amazon's "Ride or Die" (Season 1) finishes the month at #1 on the TVision Power Score. The action comedy starring Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham as lifelong best friends, one of whom turns out to be an international assassin, dropped all eight episodes at once and held the top of the weekly board for most of the month. To lead every series across the entire month, in a July stacked with new premieres, the star pairing and the premise clearly landed the moment it arrived.
Paramount+'s "Dutton Ranch" (Season 1) takes #2 for the month after leading in June. Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone spinoff follows Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, played by Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, as they relocate to South Texas and go to war with a rival ranch owner. The season wrapped in early July, and even winding down to its finale it held the second spot for the full month. That is the Yellowstone machine doing what it does, holding a massive audience straight through to the end.
New at #3 is Netflix's "Worst Neighbor Ever" (Season 1). The true crime docuseries, a spinoff of Worst Roommate Ever, dropped all four episodes on July 1 and pulls real stories of neighbor feuds that turn to fraud and violence. Unscripted true crime rarely cracks a monthly top three loaded with big scripted premieres, but this one did. Netflix has turned the format into appointment viewing, and the audience treats each new installment like the next big binge.

For July, Netflix's "A Toxic Love Story" tops the movie board on the TVision Power Score. The true crime documentary unpacks a real California case where a string of threatening emails spirals into an elaborate framing plot around a newly married US Marshal and his ex. It runs a tight ninety minutes with a stack of twists, and viewers ate it up. Netflix has trained a huge audience to show up for exactly this kind of story, and this one pulled more attention than any other movie on the platform for the month.
Netflix's "72 HOURS" lands at #2. The Kevin Hart comedy, directed by Tim Story, follows a fortysomething executive who gets accidentally added to a group chat and tags along on a Miami bachelor party with a crew of twenty year olds. Critics were rough on it, but that barely dented the attention. This is the star power play in its purest form. People pressed play on the name, stuck with it, and pushed it to number two for the month.
New at #3 is Netflix's "Shipwrecked: Nightmare at Sea." The documentary retells the 2012 sinking of the Costa Concordia cruise ship through survivor accounts and footage from that night. It leans into the dread of a vacation turning into a disaster, and it hooked viewers the same way the platform's other cruise and catastrophe docs have. Two documentaries in the monthly top three tells you where a big slice of movie attention is going right now, and it is not the scripted stuff.

TVision measures Viewer Presence and Attention for every second of programming and advertising on television. Every time a person walks into the room, our technology detects who the viewer is, where they are in the room, and what their eyes are looking at. We do all this without personally identifying individual users, and without transmitting any images or videos. TVision’s data is collected from an opt-in panel of 5,000 homes across the United States and weighted to represent the country. All demographic data is self-reported by the respondents. Linear and CTV ad impressions data in this report is from May 1 – May 31, 2023 or May 29 – June 4, 2023, unless otherwise indicated.
The TVision Power Score is a completely new ranking designed to factor in both viewership and engagement when measuring the performance of CTV programming. The Power Score is based on the industry’s most comprehensive view of the CTV landscape - TVision measures activity across over 1,000 apps - and enables an accurate understanding of the relative performance of CTV content across any app. This new way to understand show performance will enable industry watchers to more quickly identify trending content and CTV’s hottest programming and even uncover hidden gems distributed through smaller apps.
The TVision Power Score factors in four key metrics: the amount of time viewers pay attention to the program, the amount of program time available for the season, the program’s reach, as well as the application’s reach. This combination of metrics was chosen to enable a neutral look at the quality of programming and its unique, inherent ability to draw in viewers - regardless of the scale of the platform, or the program’s release schedule.
